A training session on the second edition of the Pastoral Plan for the Kasargod Deanery was held at St Monica English Medium School Auditorium, Kumbla, on October 14, 2024, at 5:00 PM. About 200 representatives including Religious Sisters, Parish Vice presidents, Secretaries and 21 commission coordinators from 16 parishes attended.
The session was led by the Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, our Bishop. V. Rev. Faustine Lobo, the Diocesan Pastoral Commission Coordinator, gave the main training. Rev. Rupesh Madtha, Rev. Vincent Sequeira, and Mrs Anita Frank also addressed the gathering.
The program started with a prayer by Rev. Suraj Joseph Lobo. The gathering was welcomed by V. Rev Stany Pereira, the dean, and ended with a vote of thanks by Rev. Rithesh Rodrigues the secretory of the Deanery. The program, meticulously arranged by Rev. Melwyn D’Souza, Parish Priest of St Monica Church, Kumbla. The training concluded at 7:40 PM, followed by a fellowship meal.
