Sep 22 : ICYM Kumbla organized a Drug Awareness Programme to mark Anti-Drug Month. The programme aimed to educate the youth, children and parishioners, to know the impacts of drug usage on families and society, the causes of drug addiction such as mental health issues, societal pressure, poverty, and unemployment, and how to overcome addictions.
Rev. Fr Suraj Joseph Lobo, Asst Parish Priest and Asst Director of ICYM Kumbla, convened the session. Rev. Fr Melwyn DSouza The Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Kumbla encourage the parents to have good bond with the youth, Children and Family members.
The media team of the parish along with Icym members prepared the Audio Visual Slides to bring awarness on the topic.
Large number of Youth, Children, Parents and Elders of the parish attended awarness programme.
