Sep 15 : ICYM Kumbla organized for the first time ‘Kutma Sangin Yuva Milan’ to celebrate the Nativity Feast and Onam at a home in St Ambrose Ward
The Parish Priest Asst. Parish Priest, Vice President of Pastoral Council. Secretary of Pastoral Council; Commission Secretary, Sister of Holy Family Convent; Gurkars of all 4 wards; presidents of all associations and all ICYM members were present for the programme.
Mr Joel Crasta, President of ICYM Kumbla unit, welcomed the gathering, followed by Prayer Service led by Rev. Fr Melwyn D’Souza and thereafter the blessing of the new corn was done. The ICYM members served the prepared food to the gathering, which included 15 varieties of vegetable curries prepared by the members of ICYM Kumbla unit.
ICYM Kumbla unit gifted a ceiling fan to the family as a token of love. ICYM Kumbla honoured Mrs Celin Montheiro, Gurkar of St Ambrose Ward for providing space to prepare the food. Rev. Fr Melwyn presented the memento to the Gurkar.
The love and service that was rendered during the day was well appreciated by the family as well as the people who attended it.
